Las Vegas Personal Lubricant Manufacturer
Empowered Products – The Company Behind Gun Oil Lubricants
Empowered Products Inc. is the American manufacturer of Gun Oil and PINK personal lubricants. Established in Las Vegas in 2002, the company makes silicone, water-based and hybrid formulas for different lubrication requirements. Its range includes Gun Oil Silicone, Gun Oil H2O, Force Recon, Loaded, PINK Silicone and PINK Water. For CockRingShop customers, the key differences are texture, product materials, condom compatibility, ease of cleaning and whether a formula suits the intended activity.
A Different Formula for Different Equipment
A personal lubricant can reduce friction during compatible sexual activities and toy use, but not every formula works with every material. Gun Oil Silicone offers a water-resistant silicone texture, H2O provides a water-based option, and Force Recon and Loaded use hybrid formulations. PINK adds further choices. Understanding their ingredients is especially important when choosing a lubricant for cock rings, strokers, condoms and other male accessories.

From a Military Background to Gun Oil
Empowered Products Inc. was founded in March 2002 by Scott Fraser, a former United States Marine Corps platoon commander. Fraser served during the 1990–91 Gulf War, and the brand's origin story connects its name to silicone lubricant used while maintaining military equipment.
According to the company's account, Fraser later recognised a possible commercial application for silicone's slippery, water-resistant properties. He developed the concept into a purpose-made personal lubricant business based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Gun Oil Silicone was introduced in 2003. The company expanded with the PINK line in 2005 and later developed water-based, gel and cream-style lubricant formulas.
The business describes its manufacturing operations as including bottling and labelling in Las Vegas. Its products are sold under different names, although they should not be treated as identical formulas merely because they come from the same company.
Gun Oil and PINK have established brand histories, but current product labels remain the most important reference for ingredients, use instructions and available sizes.
Six Gun Oil and PINK Formulas Explained
The Empowered Products family includes thin silicone liquids, water-based lubricants, a concentrated hybrid gel and a silicone-infused cream. Each format has different practical characteristics.
Gun Oil Silicone – Original Formula
The original Gun Oil product is a silicone-based lubricant. The brand describes a three-molecule silicone blend with vitamin E and aloe vera, developed to provide a slippery, water-resistant finish.
Silicone formulas generally retain their texture longer than water-based products. They may require more thorough cleaning and can leave residue on certain surfaces.
Base: Silicone.
Previously listed sizes: 2 oz, 4 oz and 8 oz.
Check: Condom compatibility, silicone toys and the manufacturer's current directions.
Gun Oil H2O – Water-Based Option
Gun Oil H2O provides a water-based alternative to the original silicone formula. Product descriptions identify botanical extracts and a glycerin-free, paraben-free formulation.
It generally rinses away more easily than silicone lubricant and can be suitable for many silicone toys when their manufacturers permit it. Reapplication may be required as it dries.
Base: Water.
Previously listed sizes: 2 oz and 4 oz.
Check: Toy materials, condom compatibility and current ingredients.
Force Recon – Hybrid Gel
Force Recon combines water and silicone ingredients in a concentrated gel. Its thicker consistency differs from the lighter feel of Gun Oil H2O.
The gel format may be preferred when a more substantial texture is wanted. However, having water in the formula does not automatically make it compatible with every silicone toy.
Base: Water-and-silicone hybrid.
Previously listed format: 4 oz tube.
Check: Individual condom and material instructions.
Loaded – Silicone-Infused Cream
Loaded is a hybrid lubricant with a cream-like consistency. Earlier product information describes approximately 5% silicone in its formulation.
It offers a different texture from a clear liquid or thicker gel. Customers comparing Loaded and Force Recon should consider consistency as well as ingredients.
Base: Silicone-infused hybrid cream.
Previously listed format: 4 oz bottle.
Check: Current formula, condom suitability and toy compatibility.
PINK Silicone – Silicone Lubricant
PINK Silicone joined the company's lubricant portfolio after the original Gun Oil launch. The PINK line was historically marketed towards women, although formula choice depends on the individual product and user rather than gender.
The brand describes a silicone formulation with vitamin E and aloe vera, designed for a lasting slippery texture.
Base: Silicone.
Size: Confirm available formats on the product listing.
Check: Condoms and silicone toy compatibility.
PINK Water – Water-Based Lubricant
PINK Water is a separate water-based formulation within the company's PINK range. It was among the four named products covered by the company's 2016 FDA 510(k) clearance.
It provides a non-silicone alternative to PINK Silicone and generally offers easier cleaning with water.
Base: Water.
Size: Confirm current availability.
Check: Condom instructions and individual product directions.
Lubrication and Cock Ring Materials
Cock rings come in a variety of materials, including silicone, stainless steel, flexible polymers and combinations of rigid and soft components. A lubricant used during fitting must be suitable for both the material and the wearer's skin.
A small amount of compatible lubricant may help with fitting or removal when the ring manufacturer recommends it. However, lubrication changes how the ring moves against the skin and does not make an incorrectly sized ring safe.
Water-based lubricants are commonly compatible with many silicone rings and are easier to wash away. A silicone-based formula such as Gun Oil Silicone may not suit certain silicone accessories. Hybrid products also need material-specific checks.
Rigid steel rings cannot be adjusted to compensate for incorrect measurements. If a ring causes pain, numbness, swelling, coldness or unusual colour changes, remove it immediately.

When a Water-Based Lubricant Makes More Sense
Water-based products are a practical starting point for many customers using silicone accessories or toys. They generally rinse off more easily and tend to leave less persistent residue than silicone-based formulas.
Gun Oil H2O and PINK Water are the relevant water-based names within Empowered Products' range. Their formula details and condom compatibility still need to be checked separately.
A water-based product may dry during use, especially if the activity continues for a longer period. Reapply according to the product instructions rather than continuing once friction becomes uncomfortable.
Not every water-based lubricant has identical ingredients. Added fragrances, glycerin and other ingredients may affect suitability for people with sensitive skin.

Personal Lubricants Versus Sexual Enhancers
A personal lubricant primarily reduces friction. A topical sexual enhancer may instead contain warming, cooling, desensitising or other ingredients intended to produce a particular effect.
These categories are not interchangeable. Gun Oil H2O and Gun Oil Silicone should not automatically be described as treatments for erectile difficulties, premature ejaculation or other medical conditions.
Products that change skin sensitivity need special care. Desensitising formulas may hide pain or excessive pressure, which is particularly concerning when constriction devices are involved.
Our sexual enhancers collection is a separate category for comparing those products. Check their active ingredients and warnings instead of assuming they perform the same role as personal lubricant.
No lubricant or topical enhancer can correct an incorrectly sized cock ring. Persistent erection problems or genital discomfort should be discussed with a qualified health professional.
Massage Oils and Personal Lubricants Are Different
Massage oils are typically formulated for application across larger areas of skin. Personal lubricants are developed for the uses specified on their labels, with compatibility requirements that may include genital contact, condoms or adult toys.
A massage oil should not automatically be used as a sex lubricant. Oil-based products can damage natural rubber latex condoms, and fragrance ingredients may irritate sensitive tissue.
Similarly, a silicone personal lubricant may not be suitable for every fabric or massage surface. Silicone formulas can leave slippery residue and may be difficult to wash out of some materials.
Customers comparing different products for body massage can review our massage oils collection. These products are from various manufacturers and are not necessarily part of the Empowered Products range.

Which Gun Oil Products Have FDA 510(k) Clearance?
Empowered Products received FDA 510(k) clearance under reference K152918 in June 2016. The clearance identifies Gun Oil Silicone, Gun Oil H2O, PINK Silicone and PINK Water.
The FDA 510(k) process evaluates substantial equivalence for named devices and their stated indications. Clearance is not proof that every product in a brand family is medically superior, suitable for every user or compatible with every toy and condom.
Force Recon and Loaded should not automatically be described as covered by the same clearance. Their product instructions must be reviewed individually.
The cleared formulations also have specific condom compatibility statements. For the formulations documented under K152918, the silicone products are identified as compatible with polyurethane condoms but not natural rubber latex or polyisoprene condoms. The water-based formulations have different documented compatibility information.
Because formulas and packaging may change, check the current product label and condom manufacturer's instructions rather than relying exclusively on historical clearance information.
Choosing the Right Formula for Your Accessories
Start by identifying the product material and how the lubricant will be used. A silicone ring, metal ring, stroker sleeve and condom can require different compatibility checks.
If easy cleaning and compatibility with a silicone accessory are priorities, compare Gun Oil H2O or other suitable water-based formulas. Check the product instructions rather than assuming every water-based lubricant has the same ingredients.
If the intended use permits silicone lubricant and a longer-lasting feel is preferred, Gun Oil Silicone or PINK Silicone may be appropriate choices. Confirm condom compatibility and be cautious around silicone toy surfaces.
If consistency is the main concern, Force Recon offers a gel while Loaded provides a cream. Both have silicone components and require their own compatibility checks.
Always select a cock ring by its proper dimensions, materials and manufacturer's wear instructions. Lubricant selection is a separate decision and should not be used to compensate for a poor fit.
Important Lubricant and Cock Ring Safety
Read the formula's ingredient list and intended-use instructions. Do not assume that every personal lubricant is compatible with all condoms, silicone accessories or electronic toys.
Use lubricant only as advised for the specific accessory. A lubricant can change how an item moves against the skin but cannot correct an unsafe ring size.
Remove cock rings immediately if they cause pain, numbness, coldness, swelling or changes in skin colour. Do not sleep while wearing a constriction ring, and follow the manufacturer's wear-time instructions.
Never rely on a numbing or desensitising formula to hide discomfort from a constriction device. Reduced sensation can delay recognition of tissue injury.
Silicone and hybrid formulas may require special care around silicone toys and coated materials. Check the current product guidance and clean accessories after use as instructed.
Silicone lubricants may leave slippery residue on hard floors or in showers. Clean spills promptly and avoid using a product on surfaces where it could create a slipping risk.
Stop use if irritation develops and seek medical advice for persistent discomfort, swelling or skin reactions. Personal lubricants do not prevent pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections by themselves.
Read More About Personal Lubricant Selection
Choosing between water, silicone and hybrid lubricants involves more than deciding which texture lasts longest. Material compatibility, cleaning requirements, skin sensitivities and the intended activity also matter.
For additional guidance, read the guide to personal lubricants. It covers general considerations when selecting a lubricant, including reasons different formulas may suit different needs.
Use the guide as a general educational resource. Product labels and manufacturer instructions remain essential for checking a specific Gun Oil or PINK formula.
